They don't and that's the point.
No real scientist or legitimate feminist would claim that scientific evidence in that regard is false.
Everyone knows that the gender roles we know for centuries developed because men were the strong ones hunting and women were better in the emotional field and thus stayed home with the kids.
But that's not the society we live in right now. These differences don't make a man better for a CEO job than a woman, or make a man useless as a daycare worker.

None of these are a justification for treating anyone unjustly.
Please don't think I'm one to say "Well, women are naturally better with children so they should all stay home and never work" or anything along the lines. We've most definitely moved past that as a society.
It's just that such a biological foundation is helpful in understanding why men and women have gender-specific advantages or disadvantages in today's society.
Of course women can be CEOs and men be daycare workers but biology explains why more women than men are drawn to working in a daycare facility and for example why men are generally more interested in politics than women.
