Beyoncé doesn't get enough credit for making a 70s soul album at 21 years old in 2003

Unless there's another album nominated, AOTY nominees are almost guaranteed to win in their genre category. There are a few examples that contradict that ofc, but Bey is obviously the frontrunner here. Ngl, I had some reservations before the noms came out but now that Anti isn't nominated for AOTY, I'm betting on Bey. I love Anti and think that it deserves that award per se but Lemonade is taking that one. I've seen many people confidently saying that Rihanna was going to win because she already won while Bey couldn't beat Pharrell, which does not make any sense

It's like they know she has 20 Grammys but they still think others are front runners
Some think Formation getting snubbed decreases her chances when that's also not the case. If Kiss it better can flop (remember Rih has no R&B song wins) and be nominated, Sorry would be a shoe in. But they also don't look at the other category's...Beys urban voters definitely pushed Hold up and DHY over the edge.

It's a popular contest these days. Pharell won coz Happy was huge. Rihanna can win because Work spent 9 wks at #1. I can see a lot of the Urban voters voting for Anti.
2015 really affected my confidence, but I think Bey can win:
AOTY
Music video
Music Film
ROTY

Once again, Bey is not going to lose UC against Rih and then win AOTY. If she loses UC (which is unlikely) then just forget about AOTY.
Last year all of the AOTY nominees represented a different genre (Urban, Pop, Rock, Country and Rap) and they all won their categories

No.
Pharrell won because he was an AOTY nominee like ST and Columbia was doing some shady ****.
Rihanna will not win, if she had enough votes she would be nominated for AOTY which she is not. Plus, this time around Columbia seems to have Bey's back and Bey herself is campaigning this year as well. Bey sold more, and was more well received, all the tracks charted on the Hot 100. She's got this.

As a matter of fact, she gets hated on for it, because it's supposedly such a terrible album. I've always loved it so much and still do today. There's only two, maybe three mediocre songs on the entire thing.

B'Day and 4 are really a Yin and yang moment in her discography imo.
Both album compliment eachother, while B'Day was more hardhitting with some slower moments, 4 is more vulnerable, while also reaching these hard hitting climaxes. B'Day is literally one of the first releases I ever bought with my own earned money from my first job as paperboy back then, so it will forever hold a special place in my heart.

I'm sick of Irreplaceable, it's just as overexposed as Halo. Déjà Vu, Green Light, Freakum Dress and Suga Mama are just ok and I dislike Resentment.
DIL has higher highs

I never used Disappear but Smash Into You is perfection. That alone is greater than the others.
Took forever for Superpower to grow on me and I'm mad it took so long cause it's perfect.
The rest though...TEA.
