It's clear the mainstream media continues to appease a certain audience for which they fooled to begin with. I get it. It'll make the accolade more bearable.

It's award enough for Trump to have bitched about not getting in last year.
It's the same cycle every four years. Since 2000, every elected/reelected POTUS was person of the year that year. Only 3 presidents have missed out since TIME first started person of the year.
