NCT U wasn't a fixed unit with fixed concepts. Any smrookie could potentially be part of it while NCT 127 was fixed.
But now they apparently added Doyoung and johnny to NCT 127 so ..idk

I guess NCT 127 is strictly for korea while NCT U could release in mutiple languages?

Wait i think NCT U can have any kind of combination of members. Potentially without any of the ones who debuted in NCT U originally. While NCT 127 will have a certain fixed line up + possible non permanent members (or new additions).... yeah it's confusing
