You mean a church SET. Designed by set designers, constructed by carpenters, and paid for by the record label. I admit, it added a lot to the artificiality of her "artistry" though. Madonna's "Like A Prayer" looks like it was filmed in a REAL church, by comparison.

Yes, there are thousands of videos out there about a girl acting ****ty and everything and NMT really is just one more, and I do get the similarities and I do get why people would say that it is a copy (not that I agree with that, but I do understand why) but what gets on my nerves EVERYTIME is that if this same video was someone else's, people wouldn't try to bring negativity to it, the ones who liked would just enjoy it and the ones who didn't like would ignore. NO ONE would give **** about being a copy.

I have to agree with this. Millions of Americans have religious morals against that. I am not one of them (not religious at all), but the general society is going to get PISSED at that scene.

And why specifically a church? If the scene in question had been in any other location, it would have been okay.

I guess it was a smart move, though. Increased controversy = increased single sales.

Besides that scene, I enjoy the video a lot. The comparisons are useless, all popstars borrow from each other
