I feel like I haven't been in this thread for weeks. I was too busy following this depressing election.

Queen needs to deliver another album next year to ease the pain.

Agreed, Blackbeat. "Rolling in the Deep" is such an incredible song; it's the song that reminded me why I love music. That was the song I was listening to when I was in my car accident the other day, and I was really afraid that because of that, I wouldn't be able to listen to it the same way again, but it still sounds just as flawless. I sobbed when I watched the video of her crying while performing it the other night.

And yeah, seriously, if they want them Black Friday sales, they better announce it soon. I'm pretty sure that guy that was filming the other day was filming a behind-the-scenes tour footage video for "Water Under the Bridge" that they'll use to announce and/or promote the DVD. At least that's what I hope happens.

Emeli :heart: I'm a little bit disappointed because I can't find any Daddy- or Heaven-like smashes (maybe Hurts or Highs and Lows, that's it), but it's still a beautiful album, in a complete different way than OVOE was. OVOE though >

Anyways... I'd have to agree, Denyy. I feel like this album is so mature cohesive and it really flows, but when you compare it to Our Version of Events, that album did as well, but in a completely different way. I love both, and I think Long Live the Angels may be a better album as a whole, but Our Version of Events has much higher highs. ("Hurts" and "Highs and Lows" were two of my favorites as well and both have hit potential, I think! Great minds think alike! )

I just listened to Can't Let Go for the first time in a bit and I can't believe. I get why it wasn't on 25, but it's not really a 21 track either. Almost that "rawer" sound she was talking about going for early on; I hope she pursues it again at some point.

I'm actually kind of surprised that this isn't something her team has considered releasing yet. I feel like people would definitely buy a box set of the "trilogy." I probably would, even though I already have several copies of every album.

In due time I feel like something like this is more suitable a bit later in the future or at least at the end of the 25 era.
