True. Doubt 46% of eligible voters will not show up because scandals won't soil Sanders and Trump will have either put things in a forward motion or not. He won't have a test drive term like Obama did in 2008. So if Trump is underestimated (typical) he'd be in a good position in 2020 if the opposite occurs then Bernie better serve PERFECT VISION 2020.

I would back Bernie. He's progressive and his drawback is he's too idealistic and not realistic but if he makes a few tweets towards realism then he can be an opponent

Again with this argument. The electoral college was congruent with the popular vote in 2008 and 2012, no one had any reason to contest it

The EC has been heavily contested for decades. The majority of the American people have wanted it abolished since at least the 1960s. More propositions to amend the Constitution have arisen over the electoral college than any other part of the Constitution (over 700). Stop acting like we're acting brand new.

Also, the whole point of the EC is not for them to vote with the popular vote of their state (otherwise what would be the point?) The founding fathers said common people should not be totally powerful at the highest level and said the EC could make decisions for them.
