Girls, I don't know if this is the right place to post it but I need some comfort. My Latino parents voted for Trump in Florida. I love them so much but this just hurts. I know they did it due to misinformation but I still can't look at them the same way.

One of my parents may be supporting the Dutch Trump next election. It hurts but you just gotta stick with what you believe in and try to convince them otherwise. At the end of the day they're still your parents though, and you should try to work things out despite your opposite political views, stay strong!

Arguing with them will only strengthen the pain. It goes against everything I believe in but I'll just have to heal. This year was going so well for me too

The world is better off with you arguing with them than you disowning them and them maybe never seeing the light. Idk my personal views may be in the way tho, for me it's definitely family > political differences. They are who they are and you at least might be able to change their views, and if not you did your best.
