Have you paid ZERO attention to his campaign, or what?
- Trump has pledged to sign the Republican-backed First Amendment Defence Act, a law that would permit forms of anti-LGBT discrimination on the grounds of religion.
- Mike Pence has confirmed a plan to dismantle Barack Obama’s protections for LGBT people, as part of an ‘immediate’ review of executive orders issued by President Obama.
- During the Presidential debates, Trump confirmed that he would appoint justices in the mould of the late Antonin Scalia, who opposed the decriminalisation of sodomy and penned a blistering dissent against the equal marriage ruling.
- A public shortlist of Supreme Court candidates released by Mr Trump features only anti-LGBT conservatives, after the hopeful said he would “consider” using his appointments to overturn equal marriage.
- Trump has affirmed his support for local state anti-transgender laws.
And that's just the surface issues.

The Scalia point is probably the scariest of all.
On how easy it was for him to decide on certain cases:
Quote:
|
“The death penalty? Give me a break. It’s easy. Abortion? Absolutely easy. Nobody ever thought the Constitution prevented restrictions on abortion. Homosexual sodomy? Come on. For 200 years, it was criminal in every state.”

On whether states could ban anti-discrimination protections for LGBT
Quote:
|
“This court has no business imposing upon all Americans the resolution favored by the elite class from which the members of this institution are selected, pronouncing that ‘animosity’ toward homosexuality … is evil … I vigorously dissent.”
|
On Lawrence vs Texas, a case which determined whether two men could have sex in the privacy of their own home with it being criminalized. I mean, this is Freedom 101.

[The Texas anti-sodomy law] undoubtedly imposes constraints on liberty. … So do laws prohibiting prostitution, recreational use of heroin, and, for that matter, working more than 60 hours per week in a bakery.”

And Trump IDOLIZES this man and touts him as the mold a proper Supreme Court justice is made form.
