i love a-yo too and that did pretty well on itunes as well. it's not like million reasons went #1 and a-yo slayed the bottom 80. any choice would've been fine but the public clearly chose which one they wanted.
Has Million Reasons being #7 in Switzerland been posted yet? Her 11th top 10 peaking single there, same peak as Applause's debut while Perfect Illusion failed to crack top 10.
If they play their cards right (and bring her ass to perform in Europe first time this era), she could have a big global hit on her hands.
my country.
the song was doing good inside the top20 anyway as a promo single but on joanne's release date some big radio stations started playing million reasons (said it could be an adele sized hit nnnn) and it moved up to no. 2 on itunes then and then carpool came along and helped.
that's when i was sure this could become a big hit if played on radio. so happy million grammys is the new single.
to be fair, she can't, like, perform everywhere all at once. she has to focus on one country at a time.
she won't be able to do the EMAs unless there's, like, a pre-recorded performance (actually not a bad idea and I don't get why more artists don't do this) lol.
