MR is the only skippable song for me and I don't even hate it. It'll probably grow on me, because I really do like it - it just isn't a song I'd replay over and over again, at least not yet

Peter is going off defending Gaga. Has he listened to the album yet? I haven't asked
"Joanne" is really catchy - this is really the perfect example of the album's sound, so country-rock. What a queen! This era might finally have hooked me in at last. What WAS she thinking with "Perfect Illusion" as the lead?!

It's disappointing that the critical reception of Joanne is shaping up to be how I thought it would.
It's more disappointing though that this time next week many positive opinions of Joanne will do a 180 because of the reviews.
Yeah, I hate that about this metacritic obsession. People could like it one day, but when they see that the reviewers aren't liking it, they instantly change their minds.
While so different to anything she's done before, "John Wayne" is edgy, raw and rough - defiant, but still on-brand with the songs about lust she's sung before. Suppose it has the same themes as "Bad Romance" with wanting someone wrong for her.
I'm the opposite to u guys with diamond heart. I loved it at first, now I don't rlly see it as one of the better songs, I still like it tho. Maybe I just over played it and I'll love it again soon.
"Dancin' In Circles" remains the best song I've heard on the album so far of the pre-released tracks and the ones I've listened to on the album so far. Smash second single teas to finally claim that chart spot.
It is what it is. Just like with the charts, we can't act like we don't care because it's not getting the reception we wanted. If it was doing really well we would be bragging.

Nnnn the same is slowly happening with me and DIC, I'm scared I'm gonna overplay it
(friendly reminder that Gaga is a BIG flop these days and will be lucky to scrape 100k sales, truly, honestly. So just enjoy the music and ignore the other fanbases on this site still fuming about her 2009 - 2013 chart/tabloid DOMINATION)
