You guys should not concentrate on critics or charts, it is pointless. Everything will be fine in the end, Gaga wanted to do this and it is a solid effort.

It's ridiculous how many people are focusing on AP. This album is her third-best album (after TFM and BTW) and I'm not just saying that because it's slower and not as dancey. It's consistent. The only songs that aren't fantastic but still good are Diamond Heart, Perfect Illusion, and Come to Mama. Every other song on the album is deserving of a good score.

It's usual writing to reflect on the previous album, then Cheek to Cheek, Oscars, Super Bowl, and finally a track review (at least a few - good, OK, terrible) and then end the piece. Reviews haven't been great to read for a few years now tbh. Shame

The damage control certainly helped. It could've been a lot worse, for sure. In full honesty, this is her first consistent solo album in years that is truly meaningful to her. If she puts out a few more albums like this, I think acclaim will come more naturally.
