Except that the review's title was literally that the album lacks inspiration, and she clocked him saying that it indeed does.
If she had even talked about the inspiration behind her work at all, instead of what she cooked Mark Ronson for dinner, then maybe, just maybe, people wouldn't be calling her work uninspired. But she never even once mentioned in an interview that "Angel Down" was supposed to be connected to Trayvon, or anyone in particular.
Is this really necessary? It's an album review, not the Bubonic plague.
