The Fame is kinda overrated. Aside from the singles, it's aged a little badly. Most of the songs are still top-notch, though.
The Fame Monster is slightly overrated. It's a very strong, tight collection of singles, certainly not a life-changing album, but it is very good and its short length makes it a very easy listen.
Born This Way is severely underrated. Its weirdness and bombast were why a lot of people hated it, but those are the things that make this album. It's a giant ball of energy, really fun to listen to. It's a little long, though, and you definitely have to skip BJAF and FOHL because those are garbage. Not an everyday listen, something you definitely have to be in the mood for.
Artpop is the worst album Gaga's turned out yet, but yet still underrated. Many of the songs were better than people gave it credit for. Even goofy songs like Donatella had their charm in a campy way. It's weak only because Gaga didn't trim the fat, and because it's a bit regressive compared to Born This Way.
Cheek to Cheek is a side project that I don't ever listen to in full. I can listen to 1-2 of the songs on occasion, usually one of Gaga's solos, and they're cute.
Joanne is Gaga's most cohesive album yet. Some of her strongest writing, the new sound is a nice change of pace, and her voice is great, even if she oversings on many of the songs. Like TFM, its brevity makes it an easy, breezy listen.
TFM > Joanne > Born This Way > The Fame > Artpop
the other one exists in its own universe
