I had to keep my mind open when expecting this album since I didn't liked PI at first. All I can say that is that I'm so disappointed with no filler in this album. Like how and wow...
Jesus, I am so happy hearing her vocals. Like everything is so good with some exception. I honestly don't care about what people think about this. But she delivered it. I'm so happy. Infinite time much better than ARTPOP(And I love that record, too, fyi)
I felt like this should have need out after BTW.
Plus I am surprised that some of you have high hope for this album. Like Gaga already learnt her lesson not to hype this album. Yet you can't lower your expectations in this album considering some of y'all didn't liked ARTPOP? Who's the fool now?
1 Diamond Heart: a grower, not sure about the nasal intro, it sounds like she had a cold recording it. But it redeems itself like an 80s Bon Jovi song. The guitar work is excellent tho: 8/10
2 A-YO: It's a cute bop, better than the live version for sure. The sassy lyrics stop the song from being a perfect commercial song: 5.5/10
3 Joanne Lyrics are good, the chorus is the best part of the song. Guitar melody is pretty basic: 6/10
4 John Wayne The dragging drums remind me of a song but I just can't point it down. Solid song. The mid section is on fire 9/10
5 Dancin' In Circles Safe song, don't need to say a lot about it. I'm sure the "WHERE MY BOP DOE" people will enjoy this the most. The last speaking part and outro are the best part. I hate the feeling that they just copy pasted the cowboy yell from A-YO into this song. For me: 7/10
6 Perfect Illusion The most synth driven song on the album. I have always expressed my love for this one and it still stands. 9,5/10
7 Million Reasons Timid balad, it gives you little reasons to hate it cause it's that inoffensive. 6/10
8 Sinner's Prayer Sadly they blanded the song down from the live version. I wish they would've kept more Johny Cash in there with the reverb. This is very straight forward. I like the added piano tho. 7/10
9 Come to Mama Unexpected bop. I thought it was going to be too cringey. And though it's sweet and woolen socks lyrics, the production is great. 8.5/10
10 Hey Girl Production saved this song big time. The slick synth is amazing and needed. It's good that both of them are seasoned singers and artists so it feels smooth without anyone trying to take over. 7.5/10
11 Angel Down Haunting, the ooowaah in the first verse are delicate and beautiful. It doesn't offer me a lot tho so I'm unsure what I think of this song to be honest 5/10
