How global of them.

And yet, GG only sold out 1 stadium once. They've only headlined in 7 countries. 5H have headlined in over 25 countries with 2 albums into their career.
How global of GG.

Lool, are you joking?
Their 55,000 capacity Dome dates all count as stadiums.
Don't you think there's a reason why they gross more than the other girl groups with way fewer dates?

Really, you include Beyoncé's stats as part of DC's? I can understand including DC stats as part of Beyoncé's stats but the other way round makes no sense. Attributing Lemonade and ST's sales etc to Destiny's Child is ridiculous.

The many #1 albums WW clearly show that they are the most global GG of this generation.
The World chart is a weekly Billboard chart, not a daily one.
Not to mention the fact that they've only released one album in the US officially, yet they still chart.

Both of 5H's albums were #1 in 45+ countries worldwide, compared to SNSD's 11 or so
GG's latest album peaked at #5 on iTunes WW, and was down to #9 by the 3rd day. Meanwhile 7/27 peaked at #1 (for two days) and was still #4 in its sixth day.

Aside from the fact that you're comparing SNSD's 15th album (4 years after their peak) with 5H's 3rd album (the peak of their career) , SNSD are physical sellers, hence their last CD Single (with 2 songs on it) selling 70,000+ physical copies, at $15 each. That alone, for example, would've cost way less to produce than 5H's album with 16(?) songs on it and sold the same amount of 7/27's US sales, despite having a similar price with only 2 songs.
tl;dr they sell more physical albums than digital, and they're not 'officially' released WW, but imported.

But their last album only sold 170K physical copies, which is less than half of 7/27's sales in a third of the time.

Mini albums are still albums, they're just mini.
Though this its the first time I've heard someone say Girls' Generation-TTS isn't Girls' Generation.
Anyway, they didn't sell 170k that era, it's 250,754 between Korea & Japan, where their album costs $35.
You really can't compare the WW digital AND physical sales of 5H's discounted $10 album (or however much they flog it for) with 16 songs to only SNSDs physical sales in Korea+Japan, where their 12 songs cost $35.

A mini album is basically another word for an EP, it's not an album.
Wikipedia says Lion Heart sold 170K between Korea & Japan, and it has sources.
What are these lies? 7/27 doesn't have 16 songs, the deluxe version has 12 songs which is the same as Lion Heart. And 7/27 costs $13, which is MORE than the cost of Lion Heart on US iTunes ($12) On Japanese iTunes Lion Heart costs 1800 yen which equals US$17 which is slightly more than 7/27 but nowhere near $35. 7/27 is even more expensive in Japan (1900 yen) so it's clearly just due to a difference in the music industries between the countries rather than one artist being bigger than the other. And the only reason the physical albums are so expensive is because of the fancy packaging and photo booklets etc which aren't present in Western albums

Korean mini albums are fundamentally different to Western EPs.
Oh no, it says on Wikipedia AND it has sources?
Then it must be true.
Really though, I'm guessing you're looking at just the Lion Heart sales and not the other version .
Lool, this isn't relevant.
iTunes Japan isn't even recognised by the Japanese charts (ORICON), because it's so cheap.
You can sell a million copies on Japan iTunes (theoretically, not literally, because nobody uses it there) and you'd still have '0 sales' in Japan.
SNSD's physical albums still cost about $35 there (the only ones that count towards their sales)
Go take a look at a website called Generasia and you can find the prices of their albums in JPY.
The '16' was kinda a guess tbh, but looking at Wikipedia, there actually are 16 different songs on that album.
