I thought it was fishy too, but he had All of Me then Like I'm Gonna Lose You. With no hiccups or major discomfort to the mainstream in between, so this is technically from the momentum he's built slowly. Also the Lay Me Down duet with Sam + he has a handful of DJ collabs that's gave some word of mouth traction.
