Well hardbrit, plenty of people have flopped way harder, and the difference is....this isn't a typical Pop girl release. The music isn't super trendy or Poppy. She's doing her own thing this era, coming for critical acclaim, and she's happy about it. She got asked to do the Super Bowl half time show from this album, so trying to even put this in the same sentence as the albums you mentioned is completely false.
Honestly, despite it inevitably getting lower sales, this will be seen as less than a ~flop~ than ARTPOP imo. It's going to do what it was set out to do.
I was high on amphetamines so I kinda gave no s****s dancing to it, then I went to a ride called Remix 2. and Perfect F***ing Illusion was playing as I get close to the ride. I was probably the only one around that was mouthing the words or was interested, but the volume was low
