Dude, where are you seeing complains? We are just having a discussion?
You sound more like a broken record than someone who is 'discussing' though as you've been repeating the same things over and over again. I think everyone got it.
You are expecting things which are not going to happen.
Jay, those performances are great, espcially the Bad Romance one and Paparazzi. Her voice is so good there. Now her voice is ruining the songs even if they are good. Million Reasons would have been times better had the vocals been more pleasant.
See, this is how you sing
I am curious, does she practise to get her Dope vocals or its just her real voice... I mean...can you learn to sing like that or? Just a question.
I'm not huge on RedOne, but what's the problem with people liking that work by her best? Opinions are now wrong?
Monsters truly do the most.
Because people tend to link her musical greatness to only being a byproduct of working with redone. It's not the same at all, I could understand if you said the same thing of someone who didn't write their material. Then it would make sense, but she's so heavily involved in her process that honestly it's clear that she is the reason for those songs greatness. RedOne was just lucky and had the right sound at the right time to produce them. Nothing wrong with liking those songs but it's annoying to see it over and over like she NEEDS to record some smash with him.

I agree to an extent. I think the Jazz era ruined her voice in a way, as in everything is "too much". Her voice has always been theatrical but now in a different way. She used to have swells and sweet spots and climaxes in her performances, and with Million Reasons and PI acoustic/studio, it sounds linear. No progression, all harsh.
Just my opinion. Will still buy the album, I have no doubt it will be good. But it won't be my favorite.
Me? I don't care about the awards... as long as the music is written and produced by Stefani, that's good enough for me.
I stan for Gaga, not RedOne, not Ronson (although I highly respect his work.) I'm a music fan. Do you know what that is?
How can you be an Amy stan and like these joanne songs? You obviously have good taste but gaga isn't serving originality/quality at all? What do you like so much just wondering?

I'm literally listening to Stefani singing Electric Kiss and she's belting in my ears.
Why was it so hard for her to just call it a country pop album lmao?? Would've spared all these meltdowns day after day
She's said there are country songs on the album. We've heard 2.5 country influences tracks so far(I half count A-Yo since the version we've heard is sort of country, but not really). She's gotta make PI fit somehow on the album so I strongly doubt every track will be that way.
This is not more pop than Red by Taylor Swift and that was officially labeled a country-pop album.
A lot of that had to do with Taylor's history as a country artist tbh. And we haven't heard the whole album yet, there may not be any other country influenced songs.
Million Reasons could have easily be a RedOne produced track. Every track she wrote was like this before the producers touched them. Poker Face, Bad Romance, Born this Way, all sounded like country in their base stages. She used to write songs she liked and then handled them to producers to make them commercial. Now she just writes songs she likes and producers help her finish them, with the song remaining as it is.
Just play Million Reasons a little sped-up, repeat "mi-mi-mi-mi million reasons" in the chorus and add a electro instrumental fading in the background and you have a The Fame era single.
The weird thing is this, some of y'all are not even POP fans cause y'all bash all the other pop artists who do commercial, trendy, successful pop the right way. I wish some of y'all would make up your minds. Did ya'll actually stan for her music, or was it all just a perfect illusion?
Gaga's voice has gone through a lot of different influences and evolutions. The way she sounds on MR is great, I don't get the complaints. I was Lowkey scared for TIHTY vocals but she sounds perfect on it.
She hasn't served Dope vocals at all this era, she's been serving MANiCURE vocals if anything
