Not you specifically. Just those people in general. She said this wouldn't be a normal pop record. And if an artist I loved didn't release music I liked for the past 5 years or so... Id probably just move on.
Why throw away everything that made you popular, why throw away the music that made me a fan? This music you are releasing sounds so dated and ametuerish. It's the same music you can find in any open mic night around the country. You can showcase your voice without trying to get rid of everything you were.
