Do all of these endorsements actually have an effect on voters? I mean, clearly they'll just convince Trumpsters that all of these publications are part of the liberal propaganda machine, or something, but what about independents and sane Republicans?
No, but this one is still a HUGE deal to us geeks because The Atlantic is one of the few completely unbiased news sources.
Who will be first to race to FL, GA, and NC after the Hurricane...Trump, Clinton, or Stine?
An ^ advantageous political situation should not be missed.
Trump because he's a narcissistic douchebag who doesn't understand that it's a pain in the butt when they visit after natural disasters - they don't WANT politicians to come right after the fact.
I remember when papers would endorse Hillary in the primaries and the Berner's would say they were all just "part of the establishment" I imagine the Trump trolls are doing the same now
Seriously hoping that Hillary wins the debate on Sunday. If so, she's got this thing in the bag no question.
I think the key may be leaving up the corny catch-phrases. Even though we all kii'd, that "Trumped Up Trickle Down" line made most people cringe a bit.
But even with those sayings, I still think she'll likely crush it.

Some people like the politicians to come in and be their "Superhero" type figure...it's comforting in a crisis

I think Hillary...especially after she received negativity for her response to the Louisiana flooding earlier in the year.
The Atlantic endorses Hillary their third ever endorsement in 159 years; Abraham Lincoln, LBJ, HRC
A roast
DEATH at hillary bringing out all of these newspapers that either haven't endorsed in decades or never have ever endorsed/un-endorsed (see: USA today's historic unendorsement of trump)

More like Trump bringing them out. They're more endorsements against Trump than for Hillary, but an endorsement is an endorsement

That Atlantic endorsement is a BIG deal. Only the third endorsement since founding in 1857. Others were Lincoln and LBJ (huge shoes to fill there, but she can handle it).
