Anyway she didn't say they chose her after she played them Joanne.
They were already making the deal obviously and she played them new music and they said it belongs to the SB stage. So let's not read too much into it. |
ugh, this.
She literally cannot do songs that people won't recognise... that isn't the purpose of the half time show. She must reestablish her old hit singles, and then people will discover her new material through the mass exposure.. please queen

She literally said she'll perform her hits... and new material. Probably Pokerface, BR, JD TEOG and new songs off Joanne, 3 i'd say. I mean those at NFL said those songs are meant to be played there so I'm sure she'll be performing at least 3.

They were in talks.... until they heard the album, that's when they booked her. That's when they sealed the deal...

Actually, maybe she'll switch Born This Way for one of her more toned-down efforts from Joanne.
She did after all note it's a conservative platform. I doubt she'd want to be OTT. There's other empowerment-themed tracks.

yes that too. If she squeezes too many songs it will be messy, especially if she has like 2-3 new songs that people won't even recognize.
that's why I say just perform PF, BR, BTW, TEOG and then she can chose 2 new songs and/or small parts of JustDance/Applause mixed somewhere or You and I etc.
but the first 4 are her most important singles she has to perform them. (TEOG is just too beautiful and right for the Superbowl - I'm on the edge of glory, so if she skips that then she stupid)
