I've spent my fouth month on army without Internet. But now I've bought cheap smartphone to listening the music and reading news.
Well, in July, my friend said to me that Katy released her new song "hours ago". I was very shocked, because I didn't control this situation and haven't any way to heard this song. My friend called me and played Rise, but phone signal was awful and quality of call wasn't good. She said that song will Olympics anthem or something. So I tried to watch Olympics ceremony with anticipation that Katy could be performer. I was wrong. After all, our news reporters started to talk about Hillary Clinton's elections and showed part of KP's performance.
Then I tried to promote this song to one guy, who have mobile phone with Internet. He played Rise for weeks and said: " It isn't typical Katy. Song seems to be very serious for her".
And now I can listen song by myself in speakerphones. Thank God.
I was sure that Rise will Top 5 hit, but it peaked at #11. History will remember this song as some of the most thin moments of her career.
