Will Gaga struggle like Xtina if Joanne underpeforms 2nd time in a row after Artpop? Will it ruin her music legacy just like how Bionic and Lotus ruined Christina Aguilera's status?

Nah Gaga is performing at SB where she'll just cement her Image and Legacy. And god knows what else she'll do, probably another Oscars and stuff like that. And I am not even talking about music, imagine her next era etc.

Bionic was outsold by albums even 5 years after its release, whereas artists can't even sell half of ARTPOP nowadays + it was top 10 on IFPI year end of its year, where was Bionic in 2010 year end ?

I mean even now 6 years after Bionic, artists are still outselling it with ease, whereas ARTPOP's sales are quite massive and the album came out just less than 3 years ago. It shows how wrong the comparison between Bionic and AP is. Let alone the 14 week top 10 hit Applause which is nearing 3M sales in the USA.

Well, Gaga performed at the Oscars / Grammys / Golden Globes in 2015-2016 and none of that helped her era with Perfect Illusion flopping. I don't see that changing with the SuperBowl as it will probably go the same way.

Those were never meant to help boost sales. It helped with critical acclaim and now she's back to being the media's darling. And most of the GP at least now know she can sing.

If she didn't do all those to recover her reputation, the media would be TEARING her apart by now with the Perfect Illusion sales numbers. But that isn't happening.

Gaga performed at the Oscars/Grammys/Superbowl this year and won a Golden Globe, PERIOD. There is no "help". She did those things all of them were achievements, she WON a GG, she was nominated for an Oscar, she performed at Superbowl and she honoerd her biggest idol.

There is no " HELP" those things weren't supposed to help her achieve something, as those things were achievements on their own and she was seen by 120M+ people last February alone, she was most talked about almost everywhere that she performed and so on.

Perfect Illusion wasn't supposed to be a hit, does it sound like a hit to you ? Do u like it ? Gaga isn't " underperforming" she is just performing.

Why would that stuff have helped her future single? it was meant to show her talent and earn her respect and acclaim, which it did...she's in a MUCH better place with her public image than she was 3 years ago.
