Is "The Next Best Thing" really that bad???
I just watched the trailer (for the first time) and it doesn't look bad at all... I would like to watch it but I don't think I saw one positive comment about it...
I saw it once a few years ago. I thought it was okay, BUT I also think that Anna Nicole Smith was a wicked actress, so take from that what you will.
There's a rather poignant and deeply affecting scene in the movie, though, which I'll post here. Its only real function in the picture, other than to link the American Pie single to the movie, is to further highlight for us viewers this incredible bond shared by Abbie and Robert, so I think anyone should be able to watch it without having anything spoiled.
I'm a FLOP fan and have never seen any of Madonna's movies except Desperately Seeking Susan and A League of Their Own
You aren't missing anything out, but i think it's weird to be a fan and to not have watched at least 'Who's That Gorl'. It's a fun flick. Evita is watchable but boring as ****.
