Buble's last album opening - 195,000 (Apr 2013)
Pentatonix's last album opening - 88,000 (Oct 2015)
Bon Jovi's last album opening - 101,000 (Mar 2013)

and of course Gaga's 258,000 in Nov 2013. She should do okay

Worldwide (for example, in Canada) we might see her lose a few chart-topping debuts - I guess we'll see.

Pentatonix in q4 is always a threat, especially on first week but yeah, for now Bubble is her main competition and my post stands. They will have to do many things to get that #1 against him.

She has a better chance than her last release because there's two versions. Also informative for management to see how invested people are in Gaga. The more deluxe sales, the more confidence it'll give them to promote her work and world tour.

Gaga's always been a good draw as touring act anyway but right now her career is unpredictable. Time will tell..

Similar to The Fame Monster. The EP sales were dire.. while everyone was willing to buy TF+M instead. Bigger tour.

The only serious threat imo is Bublé, but I'm not gonna count out the Pentatonix and Bon Jovi.

Bare in mind Bublé done a media blitz last time for album release, doesn't seem like he's doing that again.

Yeah I'm estimating 90k first week for Gaga with Joanne. So she could be blocked by any of those guys in my opinion (obviously I'm not a chart expert or w/e and she could pull through).
I do think she might top Bon Jovi and Pentatonix if her label go all out in terms of promo that week and if Perfect Illusion gains traction/is at it's peak by then....however it is VERY unlikely that she will top Buble, even with a massive promo campaign on release week. It would be almost impossible. He is one of the strongest album sellers around.
