I'm at work right now, but when I get home, I'll listen to Emeli Sandé's new song and give y'all my opinion. Loved her debut and cannot wait for her new album!

Anyways... That's really a shame. I hope Adele addresses that at her next concert. Completely 100% uncalled for.

And I'm so glad that the GP is stanning for "When We Were Young." God, its release was handled so poorly. That song should've been a #1 for her. I wanted her to re-release it so bad like she did with "Hometown Glory," but it really doesn't make sense to when she's got "Water Under the Bridge" to release (and the potential film theme), not to mention "When We Were Young" wasn't really a flop.

That girl's version was decent, but literally every version of that song is incomparable to Adele's. Someone in this base (it might have been anti-bitch) sent me a video of this guy covering it after the album came out (his name was Noah something) and he did a really good job with it, and I really liked the version that the guy from The Voice in Portugal did as well. But I'm not impressed with most covers of this song. So many of her songs are untouchable. Like, do not cover Adele unless you can actually do the song justice.... It's just a fact!

So, I was having a discussion with my friend recently, and he said that there's no difference between your favorite song by an artist and their best song. I totally disagreed, though, because I told him even though my favorite Adele song is "When We Were Young," "Rolling in the Deep" is undoubtedly her best song. Then I started wondering what the general consensus is here on what Adele's best song is. What are you guys' thoughts?

I think it depends on whether you can stay objective and admit that the song that is your favorite might not be her actual best song. Overall it's a taste thing

Adele is in a very unique position in that she has at least two songs that will outlive her and us all, RITD and SLY. I can't decide, both songs are so impactful, often imitated but never duplicated.

@AdeleAddict i've always had that idea, no matter what song of hers i enjoy atm there's no denying that RITD will forever be her greatest song, truly a perfectly crafted timeless gem. I wish i could be with her and Paul during the creation process.

He said she was very cool, he travelled by train to Paris, they kept smoking non stop hanging out, then she pitched the idea of directing the Hello music video. He was sceptical at first by fear of not "feeling" the song or not having a complementary concept to the song, but there he is now having his most watched visual

I think she stopped smoking now, that story about the hypnosis therapy is apparently true.
