Ok jokes aside I don't think this album will have any hits. Gaga needs to be happy again because the last few years she seems a bit lost. I'm here for her having an acclaimed album and not TRYING to turn semi-commercial songs into hits. Just have a Lana Del Rey era and then comeback with a big hit song, whenever she's mentally ready to handle the media and the huge exposure. What she did with Perfect Illusion is so confusing. She released a not so much commercial song, she didn't care about its chart performance and she went in every possible radio station like WTF. She should stop the promo tbh, unless the RedOne song (or another song) is an incoming smash, but I don't think there will be one on this album.

Title is so eh for an album cover like that. Really hope she delivers, but those track titles aren't making me feel optimistic.

The younger generation already stans other pop stars. Imagine in 3 more years. By that time Selena and Ariana and some other new girl will be our main girls, Gaga will have no chance. You can always come back with the right song. If Mike Posner did then anybody can. Also that's what I'm talking about. The reason why she says all that is because she is lost. She can have her ''artistic era'' with Joanne, serve high quality and 0 success and after she's done with that go back to full success mode but that can't happen if she's depressed...

Keep in mind that most likely she hasn't revealed the titles of the ''upcoming singles'' yet, just some random album tracks, like she did with ARTPOP (weren't DWUW and G.U.Y the last ones revealed?)

I'd be here for it but the difference between Pefect Illusion and Lana is Lana's music is pretty damn good despite its lack of commercial performance and PI is pretty bad...

G.U.Y. was one of the first titles we knew from ARTPOP, but DWUW was one of the last, yep.

I agree. I don't like comparing careers but Cher is the perfect example of what can happen for a "gay icon" type artist. She flopped time and time again, but managed to score a #1 every decade by simply releasing the right song. And she's regarded as a legend.

Are you even a fan? All of your posts seem so centered on her being this gigantic sales seller again. Like it's okay to want that from your fave, but where did she ever say she was above commercial music? Her music IS pop and it IS commercial. Y'all act like she's releasing Bjork b sides.

I wish a non commercial indie act said they weren't pop and then released an album like artpop you'd almost have to question their sanity.
