What you don't realize is that Hillary's campaign might be interested in putting out polls that put Trump in the lead. Hillary's campaign is based mostly in fear, there's nothing scarier than actually seeing numbers that say a Trump Presidency is likely. I still think she's leading in the polls, but not by much. So, releasing these types of polls are kind of a wake up call to the base and to whoever thinks not voting is an option. Politics are ugly as **** and polls are generally biased in some way or another, that's not to say a good poll is not trustworthy though.

I can already imagine the "Oh shhh, I'd better vote!", while if every poll and network had Hillary at a landslide, they'd be saying "I don't want to wait in line to vote, she'll be fine without me".
As long as it doesn't look so bleak like she has no chance in Hell which would cause some voters to say "Why bother?" then she's alright.
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are locked in a dead heat in Texas, according to a new 50-state survey conducted by The Washington Post and the online polling concern, Survey Monkey.
The Post described the Texas outcome, based on a survey of more than 5,000 Texans, as the “most unexpected” finding in the poll, which was conducted of 74,000 registered voters nationally between Aug. 9 and Sept. 1.
The poll shows Clinton leading Trump in Texas by 1 point — 46 to 45 percent. In a four-way race, Clinton and Trump are tied at 40 percent each, Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson has 11 percent, Green Party candidate Jill Stein has 3 percent and 6 percent are undecided. The poll had no margin of sampling error because it didn’t use random sampling.
I don't like any poll that does use random sampling. It's amazing that she's up but she shouldn't waste resources there unless multiple polls show the same thing
