The song is average AT BEST.And it has nothing to do with it not being EDM or electro pop. The lyrics are meh,it lacks a strong melody,it sounds like it doesn't have a chorus,it's repetitive,the vocals sound like she is trying hard.

You're not alone sis. It's very addictive, my only problem is that it only sounds good with headphones. I can't play it on loud speakers coz it sounds awful.
Damn it. I said I would never play the song out loud to anyone else and well, I did play it to my parents in the car. By the time the chorus came and then all the screaming during the bridge they turned of the car radio. Take in note that they were both big Gaga fans during her peak. I guess PI is just not a good song for most people. I don't know if I'm blind cause I'm a fan but this song screams greatness. But I do admit it's too loud.

You fickle children if Gaga would have went with RedOne/DJWS it would have been "No artistic growth, the same Gaga!!1". If she went the Hit-Chaser route, or some other way, she would have still been dragged.

isnt that weird that Mark is one of the most versatile producers, Kevin has been serving quality music and has one of the most acclaimed album out last year, and Blood has been serving hits and bops recently but the song just doesnt sound like a 3 combo of them?
i mean even josh is from a band which has quality music.
