We can only hope she'll at least pull 100k at this point.

The promo she has lined up for the US isn't big promo and won't affect the song directly. It might affect its radio performance, but radio airplay tends to slowly build up and won't affect its digital sales directly.

What I'm trying to say is that we shouldn't expect a radio interview to miraculously revive the song.

As long as she doesn't do any TV promo for it, I won't consider it useful promo for digital sales.

Yeah, I have the same feeling about it being basic.

I'm not sure about boring though, she is probably gonna dance her "pain" out and I really like the lighting from the snippet we have. Plus, she looks sexy as hell. We are probably gonna get a sunset scene and one at night, which is cool too. I don't care if it is simple as long as it is beautiful.

Ruth Hogben helped directed it, right? Her videos are great!

She is in a completely different place to where she was with artpop. Her management was different, her goals with the album were different. Artpop was designed to be commercially successful and playing by the rules as much as she could, in the sense that she thought she could make an edm album with big dance beats and everyone would latch on to it, that obviously didn't happen hence the blackout/abandoning the era.

This time round it is fairly obvious she is making what she wants to make , regardless of how good or bad it sells. This album judging by the first single is authentic and true to where she is in her life, more than any other song she has ever released. You can hear all the influences. Yes it would be nice to sell hundreds of thousands but that shouldn't be the goal, only the icing on top of the cake. It should be about experiencing a new era in her legacy.

Yall can stay worrying about numbers and updates whilst i sit here bopping to this disco rock anthem she just served us
