britney.com confirmed 25 million for "Baby" during the 11th anniversary article and United World Chart confirmed 20 million for "Oops", though I agree, it's pretty high.

I just read a post on Exhale that said Britney.com's sales estimates are based on certifications. That actually would make sense, since none of her older albums have been recalculated in ages. And that would also make my receipts the closest.

Since obviously not all countries can certify by millions ( ) all those certifications are probably about 22.5 million, 17.5 million, 9.5 million, 6.5 million etc.
Since albums sell more than their actual certifications most of the time, a million more for each (maybe 1.5 million for the first two) is extremely likely. But then Oops!...I Did It Again still seems off.

And was't the 66 million albums sold in some official press release or something from a couple years ago?

Her first 2 albums sold 40 million combined back in 2001. And then in 2003 Britney herself said she sold 50 million before In The Zone's release.

And I completely forgot Britney has sold 5 million and In The Zone 3 million in the US. Watch the numbers go up when they get recertified.
Just for curiosity I'm gonna add up all of In The Zone's certifications to see what I get. BBL.

Her albums + singles overdo 100 million copies, some reliable estimates (The Times for example) have her at 120 million (these include DVDs, but her dvd sales are modest compared to her singles/albums, although they're impressive for DVDs, they shouldn't do such a huge impact at her totals)
83 million was published in a press release from JIVE BEFORE Greatest Hits: My Prerogative, ever since she's sold AT LEAST 10 million albums + 20 million singles (digital in America only), so expecting her above 100 million is pretty fair...
And MANY reliable sources have Baby One More Time at 25 million and some even 30 million (I believe the latter can stand for shipments) and OIDIA at 22 million.... Some have "Britney" at 11-12 and I've even seen ITZ at 9-10 million.... The general consensus is that Circus and Blackout have the most correct estimates (3,5million and 2,5 million respectively...)
She's estimated to have sold around 30 million singles by now....
but JIVE is so stupid, While labels like Lady Gaga's invent numbers (and everybody buys them), her label keep circulating numbers from 2004! I thought they would update her overall sales during The Singles Collection era (or a press release like they did in 2004 for GH:MP), but they didn't.... JIVE is such a bad label!

Britney has sold WELL over 30 M singles WW. In the USA alone, from 2004-2010 her download sales were approx. 19 million http://www.streetinsider.com/Press+R...r/5229030.html ( but when you add '3's sales, it's probably nearing 21M). And this is just in the US. From 1999 to present her singles have sold so many copies outside of America.
EDIT: Also, in the UK, 20 of Britneys singles have sold 6M copies combined, so the combined US and UK sales should be approx. 27M. http://www.breatheheavy.com/exhale/v...=226133&page=1

I have the almost exact sales of both albums which are about 75-80 million and singles and I have the United World Chart points of all the singles and they are about 100 million and I have the actual sales that are about a half of it.
