If you're talking exclusively chart pop then I mea you might have a bit more room to stand but this year's hits have been beyond awful....

Matangi is almost a masterpiece, but then everything else after is cringe worthy

The way Halsey went from being super irrelevant (couldn't even get her album reviewed enough for Metacritic) and still managed to physically outsell Demi and Selena. Now she has a #1 single and a top forty hit? We have our new pop girl.
