The VMAs last night didn't really change anything in the grand scheme of things. Beyonce is still a queen, Rihanna is still a goat that can't find a pitch to save her life, and Britney is still a certified industry joke and has-been.
That's nice & all for Beyonce (She was a winner too) but that doesn't make Rihanna's successful night any less. And it certainly isn't making her being listed in the "loser" category by the media.
I like Rihanna but I don't see what's wrong with his comparison, to be honest.
Since it's 3rd week, Lemonade era has been just as dead and as much of something "from the past" as Where Have You Been and Don't Stop the Music
Why can't you guys ever give credit where it's due? Propaganda would be hyping up Rihanna's performance only for her to give out a series of duds. They didn't even officially announce Beyonce's performance until the night before.
I'm just going to assume every time someone says "propaganda" in regards to Bey, they really mean "talent and hardwork" but can't swallow their pride to say it.
While some artists blossomed under the pressure – there was Rihanna’s career-spanning performance, and an energetic star-making turn by the Chainsmokers – others deflated entirely: Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj were largely overshadowed by the array of other acts onstage, and Nick Jonas delivered what was teased as a cameo-filled performance of his single Bacon, but simply featured his brother Joe and social media star the Fat Jew.
It's no point in debating it, cause we all know (the OBH included) that Beyonce absolutely slaughtered every other "performer" last night. And that all the praise is warranted. And she cares about her fans and her career.
And knowing that inside is going to burn you guys up more than anything I could ever type.
