Frank Ocean is the most critically acclaimed LGBT artist of his generation. Out of the musical acts who are LGBT that will define the decade and be engraved in musical history, he is without a doubt #1.
My post had nothing to do with "how much he's done for the LGBT community". And on that note, he's pretty much the first mainstream black music star to come out, and he did it right at the start of his career, before his debut album was even out. It could have easily destroyed his career, literally no black man had done it before. He's an R&B artist with an urban listening base. He broke down so many barriers. He put everything at risk for the truth. How is that not doing anything for the community?
