Barbara Walters: Thank you so much for coming here today, I’m enthralled to be able to interview one of the leaders in nominations for this years Beyhive Awards
BYoncé: Thank you so much for having me Barbara, and for coming out of retirement just for this interview, it’s an honor to be here.
Barbara Walters: You’re welcome. Now let’s get into it, your name has been thrown around a lot in the press lately by other award nominees, why do you think this is happening?
BYoncé: Quite frankly, it seems like jealousy to me. From the beginning of the awards I actively participated and made sure I was known.
Barbara Walters: *peers at her note sheet* It even appears like you were nominated for categories that you didn’t actively campaign for.
BYoncé: That did in fact happen, and I feel like I owe that to my strong campaign, not everyone has that.
Barbara Walters: Would you care to elaborate?
BYoncé: Some people feel as though they should be awarded for doing the bare minimum, or for cheating, and when they see a self-made nominee like myself, they can’t help but attempt to read me down. All I can do is be myself and not get caught up in the pettiness, it would be below me to drag other members of my own community, the Beyhive.
Barbara Walters: Now onto the subject of the awards themselves, what are you most hoping to win? What categories do you think will be tough?
BYoncé: I really would like to win my Pollen Collector nomination, as collecting has really been a passion of mine for some time, but I know no matter what, both J-Esper and I would be deserving of the award. As for stiff competition, Babee Boy will be tough, I don’t know how I’m managing to compete alongside notoriously cute members, it’s a tight race this year, and I know for a fact I’m the tightest of them all!
Barbara Walters: *laughter* Now, BYoncé, some people feel like they know you as a nominee, but not as a person, so I’d like to speak about you personally, what drives you? What attracted you to be as noteworthy of a Beyoncé stan as you are now?
BYoncé: That’s a very layered question Barbara. I think some people don’t think they know me because, like our fave, I don’t spell everything out about myself. I am a person and I’m entitled to my privacy. As for what drives me, I’m very inspired by Beyoncé herself, for a woman who as overcome so much adversity and unjust hate and yet still prospered, it’s what pushes me. Her non-stop drive and passion for art is what pushes me to be the best stan that I can be, and that’s why I’m campaigning so hard at this years awards. I refuse to be snubbed.
Barbara Walters: I think that’s a very inspiring answer. Well folks, that’s about all the time we have today. Thanks for tuning in, and don’t forget-
BYoncé: *pulls the camera towards his face* Vote for BYoncé at the ATRL Beyhive Awards!! Now let's wave bye bye Barb!
