I listened to the entire album for the first time on my way to work today and I was astonished by its beauty (the sun rising in front of a blood red sky sure did help the dramatic effect
). Defo up there sompeting with Lemonade for my AOTY. The lyrics are gorgeous, the production's top notch and he really is expanding his artistic abilities + challenging himself. I loved the high pitch effect on Nikes, reminded me of Prince.
Right now it's mostly just one big project for me, as per usual when I hear a new album for the 1st time. Can't wait to listen to it again and again and build a personal connection to each song.
Fave tracks so far: Nikes, Pink + White, Solo, Godspeed.
