Except Focus was an intended lead single hyped up for over 30 days and Rise was dropped out of nowhere made clear by Katy the day it dropped it was not her lead single she's just reiterating something she already said and we already knew

She said its not the lead 1 hour after the song was released why are you still trying?
why is she taking so long with her new album? Nobody is invincible to such long breaks. They ended Gwen, Fergie, Xtina, Janet etc etc's careers, damaged Rih's badly even though she has finally gotten back on top.

She literally confirmed on the day of the song's release that it wasn't the lead for her album, it wouldn't be on the album, and it wouldn't be indicative of the album's sound.
