y'all need to get out of this bubble where you believe that the GP stays talking about any given album for more than a few weeks AT MOST. they buy it (well, they buy some albums) and then they move on
OK. Always trying to tell us what the GP is or isn't doing. Bey has performed for over 1.8 million people this summer. Some people haven't even sold 1.8 million copies of their albums. Stop telling us what the GP care about. The numbers show otherwise.
I wouldn't worry about Beyonce overshadowing Rihanna. It's not 2011 anymore.

Rih's performances are so good now.
She keeps it simple, does not rely on anything else than her voice and stage presence. Those songs are way nicer than the 2 songs by Bey there and performance wise, so much more alive imo
If it's anything like her last performance or her Vanguard performance, she can skip.
I don't see a reason to honor an album that hasn't even stood the test of time yet, but I guess I won't complain if that means we'll get at least one good performance at the VMAs.
