Celeb News: Normani takes a break from Twitter

Good for her to both call out the disgusting hate she's been getting, and to be mature enough to understand that the unfortunate truth is the hate will never stop, so it's best for her mental health to just take a break. Not enough celebrities are open enough about the effects this kind of celebrity cyberbullying can have, and that leads to uneducated comments like some in this thread about how "she's a celebrity, it happens to all celebrities, just suck it up."
I've said for a while that I think Camila should also take a break from Twitter since the hate she gets (while still not as bad as Photoshopped pictures of her being lynched) has become excessive and unwarranted too. I think that both Camila and Normani being off social media would do wonders to improve the group's chemistry, since so much of the tension comes from the fandom infighting.

So let me get this straight: you're more upset at her letting her fans know she's quitting Twitter because of racism and threats to lynch her, than you are at the fact that people are racially bullying her and threatening to lynch her? Foh, ATRLers are a goddamn messy, racist, trip, I swear.

Those are your words, not mine. Besides, I can't take seriously on what anyone on ATRL says since most of them are on Stan Twitter bullying others every single day, telling people to kill themselves and other things like that

Camilazers been quite these whole time tho regarding the hate towards Camila all over twitter, youtube etc, but oncethey strike back Nnnnnnn its kinda too much but they're just 12-13 y/o teenagers tho... Glad to see camila defend Normani.
But all in all, finally Normani took her lesson, she should stop listening to her fans/haters,
I said it before and i'm gonna say it again now, she should focus on what matters and learn to let things blown in the wind.

Absolutely. I wish they'd all have just used the group account instead of having individual accounts. Social media is really an issue for these girls.
That being said the twitter fandom (including Laurenizers, Camilizers, Normanizers and Dinahizers) are disgusting. I've seen the most racist comments on there aimed at Normani. Deportation jokes and ****shaming comments. But this hate that Normani receives is ridiculous at this point and unwarranted. Trolls have been ruining twitter for too long and the fact that some people reek of things like this is just

It's sad she needs to take a break, but honestly more celebs shouldn't be involved with Social Media, unless it is a personal account with family or a Twitter/Facebook Q&A/Chat once in a while. Social media is poison for stars and it seems they need to learn it the hard way with either getting a meltdown about what they read, what they type or let the negativity and awful stuff come to them that they read.
