Why? When I first heard her during summer 2008 I was hoping that she would be really successful. I never thought she would do so well in the US, I expected her to be huge in the UK though.

i know.. but i think that media are too much cruel with gaga..

If anything the hermie rumor made her a bigger star and a household name.

Plus it adds a layer of mystique to her.

And it's CLEARLY not true (we saw her v-bleep) so I don't think those rumors are hurting her at all.

She was probably doing her own makeup at the time and tbh sometimes the way she used to fix herself up she did look odd or questionable at times even though I always knew those were just rumors

I think the name "Lady" Gaga was probably part of it too haha
