I can see them happening if they released the right material with good promotion.But if they were to do interviews, it would be awkward since Namjoon is the only member that can speak English.

exactly. their music can easily slay radio here. get some payola (cause **** it, go big or go home tbh) and constant promo (radio show promo too) for atleast 3 weeks straight. they also (besides Namjoon) would have to brush up on their english ASAP.
if they do all of that, they really would be one of the first kpop acts to successfuly cross-over and gain some hits here. they already made their label so much money as it is, so for them to make even MORE? they better jump on it

Honestly, I still can't see a K-pop song being a hit in the west anytime soon, unless it's another Gee/Gangnam Style type thing where it goes viral because people think it's weird.

It's still too niche.

I think BTS has the potential pull...even if they were to be one hit wonders. FIRE was like Top 30 on iTunes on US release day and that was with all of Bey's album tracks and Prince songs charting above it. They have that same strange demographic as Bieber and 1D in their prime here in the US.

tbh i just want either BTS or NCT to try it out. if it goes nowhere, fine, they'll know. but if it goes right (and there's a good chance it could), it'll be amazing and i can already tell every fellow Bieber stan would flock to them so fast. i already have a line-up of producers in my head that would slay with them tbh
