That's not entirely true. While yes minorities put Dems over the top is key swing states like Florida, Nevava, and Colorado, it's the white voters from the blue states that actually give Dems the advantage (in states like Oregon, Washington, Rhode Island, etc.)
Hillary is too strong of a debater for that to happen. And it's still pretty unlikely Johnson even makes it to the debates, so.

Okay, I guess we were at cross purposes over the meaning of 'huge deal' - you were quite rightly stating that it hasn't made much of a splash yet while I was arguing more that it should be a huge deal. It's the state of politics, sure, but it shouldn't be hand waved away because we've come to expect it. I don't doubt an RNC leak would be 100x worse/more entertaining, especially during that period where a contested convention was a hot-button issue.

I don't care much for being PC so the insults don't matter to me, and quite frankly, they shouldn't to any voter. What matters are the issues, not the rhetoric. His judge comment made sense - of course since Trump has been painted as anti-Mexico by the media the judge is going to be biased. It makes logical sense. The star of david tweet was out of bounds, yes. But as I said, I only agree with around 70% of what he says, which is far far far from 100%.
Recusing a judge because a defendant has previously made disparaging comments about his ethnicity is the epitome of illogical and nonsensical. Should a white judge also recuse himself if Trump was Mexican-American and previously made nasty remarks about white people? What about if the judge was Jewish and Trump previously made hurtful remarks about Judaism?
By your logic (or lack thereof), parties could essentially recuse judges based on unfounded perceived biases for any reason including their protected classes. Such a practice would absolutely be found to be unconstitutional under our jurisprudence.
