God if Rebel Heart ends up being the best Madonna album of the 2010s then this really is a crap decade
I mean it was definitely an improvement on Stale Candy and MDNA, but we're still not in the top quality album territory that we know she is capable of.
I'd really like a heavily acoustic album, kind of like where AL was going before all of the bleep-bloop and screeching noises. I think Tears of a Clown is a good sign for the future.
M14 could be an Anti sized try-hard PBR&B mess but frankly I'm happy with her continuing down the acoustic path she dabbled on in the RH Sessions with songs like Joan of Arc & Body Shop.
It's beyond me how can a fan think Rebel Heart is not (at least) a good album.
Especially its ballads. Messiah alone, shiiiits all over MDNA .
All in all , a great album .
Unfortunately, the leaks damaged it majorly , including many fans' perception of it .
