She didn't even connect it to terrorism, what the **** is ****ing wrong with you? The lyrics are for the Olympics, not her fault if it fits what happened last night
Looks like someone doesn't check her twitter. She replied to a fan who said this is so relavant to the current tragedies, saying there was "no better time than now" to release the song. She even have an interview about how it was the perfect time to release the song.

So, it is relevant. It was also released because Olympic games are just around the corner.

Maybe because it's unfortunately the case despite being released for the Olympics?
I hope you dragged Xtina for her song for Orlando.
Capitalising on tragedies smh
All her twitter promo for the song is centered around the relevancy of it to what's happening in the world. How about not being full of sh** and actually do something about it. Rather than being like "wait... there are tragedies happening so im gonna put a generic pop song out about the same content I've written for all of my previous albums but make it seem like I give a f*** just so I can fill my pockets a little more" maybe she could have given a portion to charity, victims, organisations helping victims, mental health awareness, PTSD treatments for victims families, etc.

You all are so hateful and ignorant. I've yet to see someone put forward a sensible reply not drenched in stan war drama. I understand the song is for Rio but she herself is correlating it to the tragedies. Sorry but this is wrong.
