I wasn't expecting Ariana to get nominated even though she deserved it. Musicians never do for hosting SNL (sans Justin Timberlake, but he's also an actor). Tiny and Amy, Amy Schumer, and Melissa all got nominated for hosting SNL simply because they're respected comedians. That's really all there is to it unfortunately.

Ariana's episode got nominated in another category, but it was the technical team that was credited. I'm not going to pull a ****** stan though and lie about my fave being the one who was nominated even though she wasn't.
