Personally I went through it with the attitude of, like, I'm going to do extracurriculars and get good grades and **** like that, but because I want to and not to show off to some college. That did end up meaning I switched around what I was doing all the time, but personally that made me happy and it ended up being a really healthy mentality to have.

edit: and obviously that also meant just taking AP I wanted to if I thought it was the most interesting option. I mean maybe I could have had a better college application but, well, who cares after it's all done?

I only have a couple of extracurriculars, but I think it's better to be a smash at what I have/can handle. There's stories of kids here that juggled a ton of **** and they ended up having to stay home for 2 weeks because they got really sick and exhausted

i really dont know what happened to him and i couldnt care less. after i found out what he did, i was literally done. i think its because, in person, i think everyone thinks im harmless and just a doo-eyed innocent, naive (im hella naive tho) guy so its easy to take advantage of me and its pretty much true. so many people (especially guys) have ****ed me over and the whole roofy thing adds to it.
i know whenever i go out (which is hardly since im literally always at home) to watch my drink regardless what it is tbh. the second time it happened it was because of a Bartender thought i was 'cute' and didnt know how to talk to me (from what my friends told me). like??? you roofy someone BECAUSE YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO FLIRT/TALK TO THEM?? i literally cried the whole day i felt terrible. im sorry this is so long like im remembering all of it now and its kinda making me word vomit tbh.

& im so sorry that happened. thats just, disgusting honestly. thats why i dont want to do Fraternities because hazing is just horrible. they always seem to take it tooo far and just, god boys are awful most of the time.

Yeah I've had gray hairs in the past few years. My dad had them when he was pretty young as well. I also just put myself under a lot of stress, too.

true that. its better to just exceed at what you know your comfortable/good at then worry about what colleges/higher ups want you to do/be good at. its just gonna help you alot more in the longrun throughout school and as a person so you did the best thing tbh
i didnt do any extra activities at school tho, i came to school and took my ass home most of the time

Yeah, I mean expectations are so ridiculously high here. Like someone would start playing cello at 5, start competitive swimming during grade school and become captain of a varsity sport, 6 APs, all-state band, volunteer clubs/work to get it on their record, ASB, it all makes me feel like I'm a slacker because I'm none of that
