7yrs old punched & scratched for singing Fifth Harmony songs
Girl, 7, terrified of school after 'being kicked, punched and spat at' for humming girl band Fifth Harmony songs
Brooke Howes mum witnessed the latest attack, which saw a boy run his nails down the seven-year-olds back because of her love for her favourite songs
A seven-year-old girl is too scared to go back to school after being kicked, punched and spat at by fellow pupils for humming songs from her favourite band.
Brooke Howes came home from school one day in tears, telling her mother she was being bullied for singing Fifth Harmony songs to herself.
Her mother Lianne, 26, even witnessed the latest attack at the school gates.
She described how a boy approached Brooke and ran his nails down her back as she left school.
Furious Lianne said: "She was walking out of school when a boy came behind her and scratched her back.
I genuinely feel awful for her. Like that Facebook post that went viral of that girl that says 'I woke up extra early to look pretty for school today and people still made fun of me'. I almost feel glad that I at least had a reason for occasional bullying (being gay and chubbier in my younger years) because bullying for pettiness like this just must feel so hopeless.
