Joni Mitchell currently has over 760,000 listeners, with her highest played track at nearly 20 million total ("Big Yellow Taxi") and her second most played track at 13 million total ("A Case of You").
Donna Summer is at 960,000 listeners, with her highest played track at 15 million total ("Hot Stuff").
Stevie Nicks is at 830,000 listeners, with her highest played track at about 18 million total ("Edge of Seventeen").
Kate Bush is at 500,000 listeners, with her highest played track at 19 million total ("Wuthering Heights").
They are all in the same avenue here. Nina Simone is the only one that obliterates retrospective streaming, which is controlled by the general public...
I don't see how your claims that she is so much forgotten, especially compared to them, even work. But nothing that you say ever really do.
