At least T-ara, or 4MINUTE always managed to somewhat sounds good on Studio.

They...don't sound good in studio though. Plus I can't think of any company has been brave enough to debut a 9+ member group with as little collective vocal or even dance talent as Twice, so I'm wondering who these groups you speak of are.
That said, as a Britney stan, I bear no ill-will toward them, but it'd be nice if they had better music to compensate.

See, I don't think they sound godawful in the studio, they quite clearly have weak voices but it's more than enough to carry them through the type of vaguely dancey pop songs they make, nobody's really focusing on the vocals and they're just mindlessly bopping.

I just feel like lip syncing is much more acceptable when you know the artist could sing it live if they had to, and are doing so perhaps to focus on the choreography or performance aspects, or maybe to preserve vocals. Its why not many Beyonce fans care about her lip syncing. Twice just can't really make that excuse. The same could probably be said about acts like Kara, its true, but they got away with it more because they sounded a lot better in the studio then Twice do. Jihyo & Nayeon can't even hit the notes in the Cheer Up chorus and half of them sound out of tune
Also live performances aside, don't underestimate the importance of a good vocal performance in a pop song. You need a good main vocalist to carry a strong chorus.

Yeah, I definitely understand that but personally, on most (not all obviously) occasion I think there can still be a good performance if the person obviously can't sing live but they're still lip synching. Twice aren't the best dancers in the world, but they can still put on a fun show in my eyes.
Ultimately though it's just my opinion, and that's just your opinions, it's just interesting to compare views and hold the discussion, so I hope no one thinks I'm trying to be hostile.

My interest in the new Snuper thing is piqued since I realised Platonic Love is a masterpiece, as much as it pains me to admit quality came from a boy group, but since nothing pre- that song was that interesting, I'm not sure if it'll remain a fluke in their career.
